After my previous post, I managed to find a second hand 2.55 dark silver reissue going for 4K and I was this close to getting it.

I decided to re-consider for a few days since i'd much rather a brand new piece. by a sheer stroke of luck, chanel called me yesterday to say their 2.55 dark silver is FINALLY IN STORES! *gasp* This is apparently their Fall '08 dark silver (more to a tinge of metallic grey), which is slightly different from the '07 dark silver (which is bronzey).

It's really pretty!! and I just confirmed it today (had to pay a deposit to reserve it as it's selling like hot-cakes!) I spent 2 hours in the boutique trying to decide whether to get the 28cm/32cm. I decided on the 32cm finally and i'll be collecting it on sunday! yippeeee, abso. love the bag!
